The Snake and the Lamb

HOIHOI tells the story of the lamb and the snake and how they turned hate in to love, fear into cheer and the unknown in to the known. It’s a story about the power of weakness and the weakness of power. It’s a narrative about the pious desire of language to capture spirituality. It is about drawing colorful lines of restriction in order to feel free and to redefine what is yours and what is mine and what us ours…
The story we tell took place In the context of the 10th anniversary of the Pilgrimage to Maastricht(NL) and Fashionclash Festival. 9 designers reinterpreted historical church vestments. The designs were presented in a Fashion-Procession through the city center of Maastricht and in an Exhibition at the Bonnenfanten Museum (Maastricht/NL).
